COVID-19 Updates

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with your health and safety in mind, we have implemented COVID-19 protocols in our clinics as this is our top priority. We have taken many steps to ensure our clinics are safe for our patients, staff, and community members.

Below are the protocols we have put in place to keep everyone safe. We hope that you will be able to make a clear decision on continuing your plan of care during this time.

Sanitation Protocols: All staff are to engage in regular hand washing and disinfecting of our equipment and supplies. While this is an activity we already enforce, we have increased our frequency and reinforcement.

While attending appointments, we ask that patients limit the number of accompanying guests unless necessary for transportation or assistance. During this time, we are also asking our patients to reschedule their appointments if they are showing the following symptoms:

  • Cough
  • Sore Throat
  • Fever

Per the most recent Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Missouri Department of Health and Environment (MDHE) Guidelines, we are also asking patients to refrain from their appointments if they have:

  • Those who have traveled to the following locations need to quarantine for 14 days after arrival in Kansas. This applies to both Kansas residents and those visiting Kansas:
    • Florida
    • Cruise ship or river cruise passengers
    • International travel to the following:
      • Countries with a CDC Level 3 Travel Health Notice With Restrictions, including China, Iran, European Schengen area, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Brazil. International travelers must follow CDC guidance and protocols
    • Others needing to continue quarantining:
      • Anyone subject to a travel-related quarantine for a state or country previously on the travel-related quarantine list must complete their 14-day quarantine period.
        • This includes travel to Arizona between  June 17 and July 27.
        • International travel to Bahrain or French Guiana between July 14-27.
      • Received notification from public health officials (state or local) that you are a close contact of a laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19.

Our staff and patients will also be screened for the above symptoms/situations before each workday/appointment.

As your trusted health care provider, it is our top priority to ensure you can continue receiving care within our clinics with confidence in our precautionary measures set in place by all APT/PPT clinics. We will continue to monitor the Center for Disease Control (CDC), local, state, and federal health officials as the situation continues.

Thank you for your support during these unsettling times. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
