Allison Hilboldt PT, DPT

Allison attended the University of Missouri in Columbia where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Prior to that, she graduated summa cum laude from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, where she earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Exercise Science and Physics of Medicine.

Allison enjoys treating all orthopedic injuries, including post-operative conditions. She has a passion for working with patients with shoulder or lower extremity injuries, and balance impairments.

In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, reading books for her book club, and spending time outdoors walking/hiking or doing yardwork.

Angela Vanderpluym

Angela grew up in Bellville, Illinois where she dabbled in many sports — softball, swimming, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track. This was when she first saw a glimpse at a future as a PT. She decided to go to Westminster in Fulton where she completed a degree in Exercise Science.

Following undergrad, Angela headed to Missouri State University to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduating, she studied for the COMT (Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy) of the spine and became certified in March 2024.

Angela’s personality and drive to be the very best PT she can be, and eagerness to jump right in with our team made her the perfect fit. Now, a place that has always felt like home finally is!

Outside of work you can find Angela spending time with her family, working out, hanging out with friends, and playing golf.

Brett Beltrame PT, DPT, ATC, COMT

What does it mean when you put patients first?
For Brett, it means you don’t treat patients from a “cookbook” of therapeutic recipes or pass patients from therapist to therapist. He focuses on building relationships with each patient, one at a time, whether they’re an NFL athlete, weekend warrior or someone recovering from surgery.

And then he gives each patient personalized, one-on-one treatment that pulls from many different therapeutic approaches and techniques. The goal: treat the patient, not the symptom, so they can live life in full motion.

Outside of work Brett enjoys cheering on his favorite sports teams (Royals, Chiefs, and Iowa State Cyclones), playing/watching golf, and of course spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.

Christina Hearing DPT, CSCS, COMT

Dr. Christina Hearing earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Rockhurst University. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science from Missouri State University. Christina has continued her education by obtaining her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in order to work with Rockhurst University’s variety of athletic programs, including baseball, golf, and tennis. She has expanded her orthopedic knowledge by obtaining her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) of the Spine through The International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM). Christina enjoys working with clients to return them to activities that they enjoy, including, but not limited to: running, weightlifting, playing golf, and being able to play with their grandkids.

Christina is from St. Louis, Missouri but has been living in Kansas City since attending physical therapy school. She enjoys watching and attending St. Louis Cardinals and Blues games, as well as attending Kansas City Chiefs games as a season ticket member. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, walking her dogs and traveling to new cities.

Dr. Hannah Weseel PT, DPT

Hannah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University before continuing on to complete a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center. With a strong academic foundation and a deep passion for movement science, Hannah brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to every patient interaction.

In addition to clinical training, Hannah has over 10 years of personal experience in powerlifting and CrossFit. This background fuels a special interest in strength training, injury prevention, and performance optimization, but she also takes pride in working with individuals of all ages and ability levels. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve athletic performance, Hannah is committed to helping you move and feel your best. She believes in a holistic approach to health and enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level to support long-term wellness.

Outside the clinic, Hannah is a proud vegetarian and cat parent to two furry companions. She loves watching Formula 1 racing, reading, and finding new ways to stay active.

Jenny Kern PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, TSAC-F, cert. DN

Jenny is a passionate physical therapist whose goal is to provide individualized and specific care to everyone who walks in the door. No two patients are ever given the same exercises because no two people are the same.

Jenny specializes in manual therapy, spinal conditions, TMJ, and dry needling. She is very passionate about continuing education, logging 50 hours or more every year.

Jenny is very passionate about exercise and fitness. In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, riding her bike, and hiking.

Mark has multiple family members that are healthcare providers, so early on he was drawn to a health career. Further, his interest in sports performance, injury prevention, and injury recovery led him to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist.

Growing up with two brothers and playing a variety of sports, especially football and basketball, Mark spent countless hours training and was often engaged within the athletic world. At an early age, he realized the benefit of keeping his body injury-and pain-free!

Mark attended the University of Missouri, Columbia (Mizzou) for Undergrad and Physical Therapy (PT) school. Mark was also lucky enough to meet his now wife, Jen, in PT school.

After graduating from PT school, they decided to spend their first years of marriage in a new place, which brought them to Tucson, AZ for almost four years! They loved exploring the Southwest on many hiking, camping, and backpacking adventures.

While they loved Arizona, they decided to move back to the Kansas City area in 2018 to reunite with friends and family. Mark and Jen now have their hands full with their three children: Peyton (5), Leah (3), and Owen (1), as well as their golden retriever, Hutch. They enjoy spending weekends with friends/family and love being outdoors and active within the Prairie Village community.

Dr. Missy Hipp PT, DPT

Missy is an Overland Park native, who attended undergrad and PT school at the University of Kansas. She grew up playing multiple sports including volleyball, basketball, running track, as well as a primary focus in soccer. Missy enjoys working with a diverse population of patients, including young athletes, joint replacements, and general strengthening and balance. Outside of work Missy enjoys playing sand volleyball, soccer, pickle ball, camping, and experiencing the great outdoors. She looks forward to getting to know you!

Allison Messick PT, DPT, OCS

Allison was born and raised in Overland Park where she grew up as a swimmer. This was her first glimpse into the importance of taking care of her body and successfully recovering from injury.

Allison attended Creighton University for her undergraduate education and obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2013. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Kansas Medical Center in 2018.

Allison is Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and obtained her OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) certification in 2022. She is also dry needling certified.

Her special interest areas include treatment of competitive gymnasts and swimmers. She also values the educational component of helping patients understand how they can better themselves.

Allison and her husband of love spending time hiking, camping, riding bikes, and playing with their corgi, Sydney. Allison has discovered her green thumb, and enjoys learning more about, and caring for plants.

Taylor Neilson PT, DPT, AIB-VRC, CSCS

Taylor is a midwest native and was born and raised in Norwalk, Iowa. Growing up she was a competitive dancer, cheerleader, and played volleyball, tennis, and softball.

She obtained her Bachelors of Exercise Science and a minor in Biology from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in 2015. She continued on the fast-track program at St Ambrose University to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree by 2016. She specialized in outpatient orthopedics, vestibular rehab, and post-concussion syndrome.

Outside of work Taylor enjoys traveling with her husband Travis, playing rec sand volleyball, and any sort of outdoor activity, from hiking and kayaking, to skiing and biking.
