Meet the Staff
Garrett has always had a passion for helping others. In 2014, he received his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training at Washburn University. Following graduation, he worked for a year as a licensed athletic trainer at Washburn University, working with various college athletic teams. He was given the opportunity to work directly with a wide variety of athletes, and worked with the football, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, baseball, and softball teams. Garrett then decided to further his education, and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center, in 2018.
Garrett is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and National Athletic Trainer Association. He utilizes evidenced-based practice with his care and continues his learning through research, webinars, and has attended numerous continuing education courses for both physical therapy and athletic training. He continues to maintain his certification as an athletic trainer.
He enjoys living in the Kansas City area, and is always trying new things. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, trying out new restaurants and food, and all things sports. He also enjoys traveling to visit his family and friends as often as he can.

My pain was very great when I started therapy. The staff was helped me work through the pain. I am thankful my balance has greatly improved and swelling and pain is almost gone completely. I’m thankful I can walk again. Very positive experience for me.
When I came in for my first visit a few days after my surgery my knee bend was only 85º. Now at my last visit my bend is 115º! I am doing stairs almost normally, it is awesome! I am using my stationary bike at home just like I did before.
