April is National Occupational Therapy Month

April is National Occupational Therapy Month, giving us a great opportunity to educate about its great benefits. Occupational therapy is a medical discipline that can benefit people of all ages. The focus of Occupational Therapy is to improve activities of daily living including self-care, career, education, and social interactions. Occupational therapy services cover a variety of specializations such as workplace and home assessments, impairments, of the upper extremity (hands to shoulders), caregiver/family education, and pediatrics. We provide Occupational Therapy at our West and Hutchinson clinics.
